Coffee shops and fantasies

Imaginary coffee shops, kitchens and quiant corners are my therapy
Sometimes my dreams feel so far less complicated than what I'm striving for in reality. Owning a tiny coffee shop is one such dream.
Something about cozy kitchens with lots of natural light flooding in makes me all happy inside. Also, that first cup of coffee in the morning before anyone is up with only the sound of milk boiling, distant birds chirping and coffee essence filling the air, is one of the many little things that excites me to wake up everyday.

Saw this tiny florists shop while I was miserably stuck in Bangalore traffic. It wasn't so miserable after noticing this though.
I keep going back to images of cobblestone streets with goth lamps just flickering to life ,people walking into corner coffee shops for an early drink or a bite and unwinding for the day. Such a happy yet mundane image. There is afterall some magic in the mundanity of things.
3 years ago I visited Europe and of all the places I visited Rome made the top of my list of favourites. The cozy cobblestone lanes, warm host that we had, perfect weather, the food, desserts, coffee shops, bridges, street musicians,artists..oh so many wonderful things. Had a rush of memories and decided to draw some of them.
